Half a Decade

Thanks to everyone who remembered our anniversary! Yes, we've been married for five years, as of April 12. Half a decade seems like a long time, but it's flown by with much fun, excitement and happiness. We had a great anniversary date when some good friends from church babysat Z and we went to a Josh Ritter concert. It was a small venue with a very enthusiastic audience. Ritter obviously was enjoying himself and was very appreciative of the crowd. We had a terrific time. Below you'll find one of our favorite songs from his new album. The song's called "The Temptation of Adam." By the way, for you Lawrence folks, Ritter will be playing at the Granada on May 11. It's a great show!

Hi Christina!

I was so thrilled to read your comment and thus, hear from you! From reading your blog, you appear to be having a great time in Scotland. Is Nathan doing a program similar to the one you did? Your son is quite the cutie! I'm loving being a mom! Having had the opportunity to do so many things earlier in my life, I am very happy to enjoy this new part of my life. Had you heard that I have a son?

love, Gayle

Will goes to daycare, although the first year and a half he was watched by a lady from church. The day care has worked well although Will found the initial drop off a bit challenging at the beginning. I confess I fought back "guilt" over his tears. Afte about a week, he was fine! Teh day car also has a pre-school and so this year (he's 3) he has enjoyed pre school for the mornings.
